big win for FOB
Whoa! Guess who just won the People's Choice Award for Best International Video - Group! Is anyone surprised? I actually am a bit surprised that Tokio Hotel wasn't nominated for the award...but maybe that woulda been unfair since they have a rabid online fanbase, you know? Gotta make the category a bit more competitive!So Fall Out Boy aren't at the show to accept their award but they've sent in a thank you message. Patrick Stump is amazed and appreciative of the phenomenal win. And Pete Wentz is absolutely GLOWING. And shrieking, cause as the camera pans down, he announces, "We've done this whole thing with no pants on!!" and we see that the boys are in their undercrackers! Haha. Well done, boys.

Pete Wentz - Fall Out Boy 'Itching' To New Record
PETE WENTZ is desperate to release a new album with his fellow FALL OUT BOY bandmates - despite preparing to become a first time father with his new wife ASHLEE SIMPSON.
The rocker wed pop star Simpson last month (17May08) in a lavish ceremony and two weeks later, the pair confirmed they are expecting their first child.
But, according to Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump, Wentz still has music on his mind - and even on his wedding day, he and his bandmates "were like, 'We should do another record.'"
Stump adds, "The band is really not talking about a record yet, but we're all itching to do one.
"We're always writing. We've had material since (2007 album) Infinity on High dropped. So there is plenty just floating around.
"There is nothing 'hiatus' or 'indefinite' about what's going on with Fall Out Boy right now."

mickey mouse and mallory keatoni never write in here anymore.mostly because i keep the words in my head and in notebooks.away from celebrity blogs that talk about my shortness or my hoody obsession (way too obvious).but i just want you to know that while there are clearly products and art, there is not a clear definition between them.i love what we do. i eat, sleep and breathe it.and i dont want some writer taking the piss out of it because he has a deadline to catch.this is me.disarmed.

New FBR Journal Update
writing this one from our nations capitol.got the chance to go to the white house correspondence dinner last night. thanks to those that brought me out. the closest thing i can compare it to is prom if everybody was in their 30s, 40s, 80s - with of "woah whats that dude doing here?"s. im a super fan of john king, who is the guy who does all those computer predictions on cnn, so i geeked out on him. i think it creeped him out. everyone asked why go to the dinner this year with this administration? and i have to say its kind of like seeing a sweet band like poison playing a state fair and you feel like they may be out of their prime but you just kind of sneak looks at them out of the corner of your eye the whole time. besides i think the only way ill ever get invited back to the white house is if i can sneak into the jonas bros. (who are surprise suprise good dudes...) as grandpa jonas.anyway, in fob news- we are finishing touches on the beat it video. its pretty low key though there are between 25 and 50 mj references in it and most of them are pretty subtle (like you have to freeze frame scene by scene to catch them)- maybe well do a contest to see who can spot the most. anyway, im pretty stoked at how the rest of the band looks in it, i kind of find myself looking a bit bizarre not in a good way...theres a new clandestine site up over at www.clandestineindustries.comuntil soon, hopefully sooner.happy birthday patrick. pee ess im constantly talking about how bad articles are mostly through how i am paraphrased. the new issue of kerrang was a very fair piece. just wanted throw that out there. check it out if you get a chance.

Well, we get word that the group's going all out -- with an homage to the former King of Pop's library of past videos.Casting was in full swing last week for a bunch of familiar-sounding figures, including various dancers, jump-roping girls, sumo wrestlers, nerds and "a hot Puerto Rican girl."
